Happy New Year

Here's to new beginnings and hope for a happy 2009. To get things started, I learned on Christmas Eve that there is another grandbaby on the way. This time it is my younger sister's daughter who got married in November 2007 and is expecting her first in early August. Guess I'll be traveling east this summer...

Our intent

... is to create a collaborative space here. As we participated in the sCenario (see link) and worked to cope with the loss of our dear friend, spouse, sister, we became more aware of ourselves as a community. We found that our thoughts and feelings, shared, enriched us.

This blog is an attempt to maintain and nourish this connection. Our hope is that those of you who are touched, intrigued or challenged by this conversation will join us, either by commenting, or by signing on as a member of this conversation.

My personal hope is that we continue the process of defining this space as our needs and whims change. We value, respect and love each other, and intend to proceed in this spirit.
